Speech therapy & voice therapy
Voice therapy
Voice therapy treats disorders of the speaking voice (dysphonia) and disorders of the singing voice (dysody). We use evidence-based methods.
In voice therapy we differentiate between functional, organic, psychogenic and habitual voice disorders.
Swallowing disorders
The function of swallowing is vital for every human being. A disturbance of this function is called dysphagia and should be treated based on a detailed diagnosis.
Language & speech disorders
Language and speech disorders affect both young and older patients. Functional communication supports our participation in everyday life. Language disorders are particularly common in childhood development, but also in patients with aphasia, for example.
When it comes to speech disorders, we differentiate between dysarthria, speech apraxia, speech fluency disorders and rhinolalia.
Hearing impairment
Hearing disorders are also part of the treatment areas of speech therapy. Both peripheral and central disorders of the hearing organ and their effects on speech are treated here. A major focus is on the treatment of patients with hearing aids or an auditory processing and perception disorder (APD).
